Key Responsibilities

The Consultant Physician is responsible for leading and supervising the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, which includes effectively and efficiently diagnosing, managing, and treating all assigned patients. This role also requires providing leadership and training for junior medical staff, setting an example of clinical excellence within the cardiology specialty.

Requirements

Candidates must meet specific experience tiers, requiring either at least 2 years of relevant experience as a consultant post-board certification (Tier 1) or at least 8 years of full-time consultant experience post-board certification, potentially including fellowship training (Tier 2). Required education includes a qualification from Tier 1 or Tier 2, a current national license, and certified proof of yearly Continuing Medical Education (CME).
