Job Description
Description. This is a contract, on-site position offering a rewarding opportunity to provide essential women's health care in a supportive clinical environment.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn physician, you will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients while collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for an associate-level physician looking to make a meaningful impact in a medical practice setting, covering a range of clinical responsibilities from routine examinations to specialized procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine and complex examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
- Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures related to women's health
- Manage prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for expecting mothers
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on preventive care and health management
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions
- Stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology
- Adhere to all medical practice regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Associate-level experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric and gynecological care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Willingness to work on-site in Montrose
- Availability for a contract-based locum engagement
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30a–4:30p, specific dates
Call Requirement: 1:4 inpatient rotation, 7-day stretches
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Average Annual Deliveries: 444
Support Staff: CNMs
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
