Position Summary

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in West Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to serve as Clinical Director and lead our outpatient team.

This position is ideal for a clinician who wants to combine hands-on patient care with leadership, mentorship, and clinic development. As Clinical Director, you'll maintain an active patient caseload while overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, supporting and developing your team, and helping drive the continued success of the clinic.

You'll have the opportunity to make an impact not only on your patients, but also on the clinicians you lead and the overall growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy care while maintaining an active patient caseload
• Lead the day-to-day clinical operations of the clinic
• Mentor, support, and develop Physical Therapists, PTAs, and clinic team members
• Promote clinical excellence and exceptional patient experiences
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented clinic culture
• Monitor clinical productivity, quality, and operational performance
• Partner with regional leadership on clinic goals, growth, and performance
• Support staff development, training, and professional growth
• Ensure compliance with applicable professional, regulatory, and clinic standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Florida licensure
• Outpatient orthopedic experience required
• Leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a clinical team
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
• Desire to grow as both a clinician and a leader
