Job Description
Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider, is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Physician (MD/DO) to provide pain management services in an outpatient pain clinic. The physician will primarily perform fluoroscopy-guided interventional pain procedures.
We are pleased to offer a flexible part-time schedule of 1 day per week.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain
- Perform fluoroscopy-guided interventional pain procedures
- Develop treatment plans, provide follow-up care, and educate patients
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- MD or DO with training in Interventional Pain, PM&R, Anesthesiology, or a related specialty
- Active and unrestricted California medical license
- Active DEA license
- Experience performing fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures
- Current certification/qualification to perform fluoroscopy-guided procedures
- Interventional Pain fellowship preferred
- Job Type: 1099 Contract, Part-Time
- Schedule: 1 day per week
- Work Location: Clinic Setting
Key Responsibilities
The physician will evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic pain while performing fluoroscopy-guided interventional procedures. They are also responsible for developing treatment plans, maintaining clinical documentation, and collaborating with the clinical team.
