Employment type: “Casual Employee” (per diem, hourly clinician role)

Anticipated average of 8–20 patient care hours per week, with actual hours varying according to office needs

Location: Seeing patients across multiple offices in Bethesda, MD

  • Including: Offices based in Maryland, Virginia, and DC
  • Weekly schedule will include hours at several clinics in Bethesda, MD
  • Candidates must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed.

What You'll Be Working On

Seeing patients with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits (not a panel-building role)

  • Treating patients in-office as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
  • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
  • Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures

Education, Licenses, and Experiences Required for This Role

At least 2 years of primary care experience required.

Currently licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Maryland, and/or Virginia, and/or Washington, DC

The ability to build successful relationships with team members and communicate effectively both 1-on-1 and in groups.

  • Can thrive in a fast-growing, mission driven organization focused on using data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics residency program
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics

The hourly rate for this role is $135.00 per hour. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include benefits.
