Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Physician Reviewer oversees utilization management, case management, and quality improvement programs to ensure clinical and operational performance. They provide clinical determinations based on evidence-based criteria and manage escalated cases including denials and appeals.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of clinical practice as a psychiatrist and hold an unrestricted MD or DO license in the U.S. Board certification in Psychiatry is required, along with medical licensure in Florida or IMLCC eligibility.
