Travel Radiation Therapist - Oncology (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist - Oncology for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

• Location: Pittsfield, MA
• Hourly Pay: $ 47.50
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
• Weekly Total Pay: $2671.00
• Weekend Requirements: TBD/Holidays required if needed

8hrs non-billable orientation

Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

10/12HR SHIFTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED

Key Responsibilities

Administers radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricates blocks in preparation for treatment.

Requires initiative and independent judgment. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.

Performs radiation therapy treatments as required in either a scheduled or emergent environment under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.

Updates procedure manuals as needed. Manages daily treatment schedule of all assignments on the clinical equipment.

• Observes and demonstrates familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area.
• Works closely with reception, Nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care
• Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment.
• Attendance at all mandatory education is required.

Compensation

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 2+ years Radiation Therapy experience
• Previous travel is preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• Must have Active American Registration of Radiologic Technologists ARRT
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
