Job Description:
Position Summary
Under the leadership of the department director and the department Manager the Radiation Therapist Performs Radiation Therapy services safely and effectively, maximizing the use of resources and equipment. Interacts with patients, medical staff, and peers in a positive, service-oriented manner. Performs all treatment procedures in area of assignment, serving the entire population from birth to death.
Performs duties in accordance with established policies and procedures in order to contribute to the maintenance of quality patient care in the hospital environment.
Experience
Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred.
Education
Graduate of a Radiation Therapist program.
Licensure/Certifications
Current CA Therapeutic Radiologic Tech certification R. T.(T), ARRT(RT), and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.

Assigned Work Hours:
M-F (sometimes weekends depending on if a holiday weekend) with varying start times of either 0600, 0700 or 0800 depending on start shift, but an 8 hour day.

$72.18
to
$96.52
The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $4.12
Hourly Night Shift Differential: $6.18

Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of a Radiation Therapist program and hold current CA Therapeutic Radiologic Tech certification. Additionally, an ARRT(RT) certification and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS are required.
