Respiratory Therapist Per Diem (All Shifts)

Key Responsibilities

The respiratory therapist is responsible for performing all therapeutic and diagnostic procedures within the respiratory department. They must maintain a complete understanding of equipment, supplies, and the physiological effects of treatments on patients.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a CoARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy and hold current licensure by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Certification by the NBRC as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist, along with current BLS and ALS certifications, is required.
