Job Summary
Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Job Duties
At a Glance
- Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful
- Provider skill mix: 5 attendings and 3 APs
Provider Primarily Performs Outpatient Consultations
- See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
- Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
- Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive

Key Responsibilities
The provider will perform outpatient consultations and manage general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, and lung cancer. They will work within a team of attendings and APs to provide comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree as either a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania and relevant certifications such as BLS and AANP certification are required.
