We are hiring a Fill-In Physical Therapist to provide coverage for clinics across Spokane and the surrounding area, stepping in when team members are out on vacation or sick leave. This role offers adaptable hours to fit your schedule and the potential to transition into a part-time or full-time position if you’re seeking a long-term role.

How You Will Make an Impact

Providing education and counseling to patient/family regarding treatments and goals, potential safety risks and/or other issues within scope of practice.

Evaluating physical and functional status, as well as cognitive, psychological, and perceptual ability to determine the patient’s capabilities to function (safely).

Documenting all evaluations, treatment, and coordination of care contacts via appropriate facility policies.

Independently managing own case load to maximize effectiveness of overall care plan.

Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, as well as facility/agency specific policies and procedures.

Supporting special projects and other designated activities as assigned in support of TAI’s mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients while managing their own caseload to ensure high-quality care. They will also document all clinical interactions and provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and safety.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Physical Therapist license or be within 6 months of completing their DPT coursework and exams. A strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to develop professional skills are essential.
