Key Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and personalized medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. They will also collaborate closely with therapists and other professionals to create integrated treatment plans and educate families.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program and PMHNP-BC certification, along with at least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure. Active Maryland PMHNP/APRN license, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority are mandatory.
