UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered
Nurse to join our Clinical Research Center team.
Our CLINICAL RESEARCH CENTER (7S) is a 15-bed unit (10 in-patient beds, 5
procedure chairs) which provides care to patients in research studies funded by
the National Institutes of Health. Inpatients and day patients range in age from
pediatric to geriatric, and represent diagnoses in many areas, including
disorders of the endocrine, hematologic, and immune systems.
Job Description
Responsible for the nursing care and evaluation of research patients
Nursing Process – Systematically assesses the need for and the delivery of
nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly
or by the other nursing staff.

Eight or Ten Hour Shifts
Requirements
Two years of professional acute care nursing experience. Prefer skills in
research and understanding disorders of the endocrine, hematologic and immune
system.
