Job Description
About LumiMeds
LumiMeds is a fast-growing U.S.-based telehealth startup focused on weight management and long-term metabolic health. We are building the next generation of e-commerce and clinical infrastructure from the ground up.
As an early-stage company, we move quickly, operate with limited layers, and expect high ownership from every team member. There is no bureaucracy here — decisions happen fast, priorities evolve, and builders thrive.
We are a remote-first, globally distributed team that values clarity, accountability, and people who take initiative rather than wait for direction.
Position Summary
The Medical Director – Peptide Therapeutics at LumiMeds will lead the clinical strategy, scientific oversight, and medical governance of our peptide-based treatment programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety while advancing evidence-based peptide therapies across metabolic health, longevity, regenerative medicine, and other emerging therapeutic areas.
The Medical Director will collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Product, Regulatory, and Executive Leadership to develop scalable care models, establish clinical protocols, evaluate emerging scientific evidence, and support the strategic expansion of LumiMeds' peptide therapeutics portfolio.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing telehealth, prescribing practices, pharmacy partnerships, and applicable peptide-related therapies.
Partner with Product and Technology teams to embed clinical safety measures, treatment algorithms, and decision-support tools into the telehealth platform.
Monitor clinical outcomes, adverse events, and quality metrics, leading continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Provide medical review of patient education materials, provider training resources, and scientific communications.
Support strategic partnerships with pharmacies, laboratories, research organizations, and other clinical collaborators.
Advise executive leadership on clinical strategy, emerging therapeutic opportunities, and the evolving peptide therapeutics landscape.
Represent LumiMeds in scientific discussions, industry collaborations, and professional engagements as needed.

Demonstrated expertise in prescribing and managing a broad range of peptide therapeutics, including metabolic, regenerative, longevity, and other evidence-based peptide treatment protocols.
