Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will perform patient examinations, order diagnostic tests, and develop management plans for minor acute illnesses. They are also responsible for administering treatments, suturing wounds, and providing patient education to promote wellness.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies and possess a valid Virginia license. A minimum of two years of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting is preferred, along with current AHA BLS certification.
