The Endocrinologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing endocrine, hormonal, and metabolic conditions, including diabetes and thyroid diseases. They develop personalized treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to support primary care patients.
Candidates must hold an MD, complete a residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Endocrinology. Required credentials include a Puerto Rico medical license, DEA and ASSMCA certifications, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
