Key Responsibilities

The physician is responsible for managing patient symptoms, conducting face-to-face assessments, and overseeing individualized care plans within a multidisciplinary hospice team. They also provide clinical guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain open communication with patients and families throughout the end-of-life journey.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a medical degree (MD or DO) and possess a current, unencumbered state medical license. Additionally, they are required to have hospital staff membership, CPR certification, and reliable transportation for home visits.
