Key Responsibilities
The staff physician provides direct medical care to hospice and palliative patients across various clinical settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They also participate in care planning, patient counseling, and ensure compliance with Medicare conditions of participation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree and possess a valid, unrestricted medical license in North Carolina. Additionally, 1-3 years of experience in end-of-life care and a valid DEA registration are required.
