Job Description

- Occupational Therapist (PRN)
- PRN: 7:30am – 4pm | 2 weekend Days per Month
Acute Care & Inpatient Rehab
The Licensed Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress.
The Occupational Therapist performs occupational therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other physically disabling impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching.
The Occupational Therapist will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
- Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program
- Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal
- Certification: BLS Certification required within 30 days if hire
Experience: May be a recent graduate. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.

- Works scheduled hours as assigned
Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and direct treatment to patients in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings. They are responsible for monitoring patient progress, completing clinical documentation, and participating in departmental management activities.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and possess a current Ohio state license. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and while recent graduates are welcome, one year of experience is preferred.
