Job Description
Department: Radiology
Job Summary
Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
Technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention.
Technologist will assume responsibility for all designated areas and procedures as required to include all C-Arm procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Performs a variety of radiographic procedures and C-Arm interventions under the direction of a Radiologist. Exercises independent judgment and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
Requirements
Requires ARRT certification, BLS/CPR certification, and a Florida Radiologic Technologist license. Candidates must be able to undergo a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
