Job DetailsJob Location: HDH - Hillsboro, OH 45133Job Shift: NightJob Category: Health CareThe registered respiratory therapist is a professional who works under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Department Manager.
Responsible to deliver a high standard of care in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
Effectively communicates and interacts with all members of the health care team, including patients, families, cardiopulmonary staff, physicians, nursing staff and other allied health personnel.
Qualifications
Associates degree from an accredited (CoARC) respiratory therapy program. Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current licensure by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-standard care in the treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities. Coordinate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nursing staff, and patients' families.
Requirements
Requires an Associate's degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program. Must hold certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care and current licensure by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
