The Nurse Anesthetist provides comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative period, including preoperative assessment, anesthesia administration, and postoperative management. They work as part of a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective anesthesia delivery in a Level One Trauma center.
Candidates must hold a BSN, current Illinois RN and APN licensure, and be graduates of an A.A.N.A approved nurse anesthesia program. Additionally, they must possess BLS and ACLS certifications and have at least one year of full-time critical care nursing experience.
