- Compensation: $60 - $65
- Schedule: Full Time - 5 days per week
- Location: National Dental Chelsea 241 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001
- Practice Model: Single Column 60 minute regular recall prophy

Dental Hygienist | National Dental Chelsea
National Dental Upper East Side is part of United Dental Corporation (UDC), a growing dental partnership organization that supports established practices while allowing them to maintain their local identity and patient-focused approach. As a member of the National Dental team, you’ll have the feel and relationships of an established local practice with the additional resources, benefits, and support of a larger dental organization.
We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Chelsea practice. We’re looking for a patient-focused hygienist who values quality care, strong clinical standards, and the ability to build lasting relationships with patients.
Our hygiene team works with a single-column schedule with 60-minute recall and prophy appointments, allowing our hygienists the time needed to provide thorough, individualized care.
- What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive preventive dental care, including prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
- Perform periodontal charting and oral health assessments
- Take digital radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and recommended treatment
- Identify areas of concern and communicate findings with the treating dentist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow established infection-control and clinical protocols
- Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and the front-office team
- Create a comfortable, positive experience for patients
- Active Dental Hygiene License in New York
- Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Preferred
- Laser Certification
- Experience with assisted hygiene models
- Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
- Experience with periodontal therapy
- Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance
- Bilingual skills

Continuing Education Support
