Job Description
About the Practice
Messenger Digital Dentistry is a modern, patient-centered dental practice built on high-quality, comprehensive care in a relaxed, upscale setting. Prevention and patient education aren't an afterthought here. You'll have the digital technology, the support, and the time to really connect with every patient, not just move them through the chair. Our patients love the team so much that some travel an hour to see us.
Why Join Our Team
- Competitive pay: $50–$54 per hour, depending on experience.
- A schedule that fits your life: Monday through Thursday, with Fridays (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) as an optional add-on. Want a four-day week? Perfect. Want extra hours? We will make room.
- High-tech, modern care: Digital dentistry and 3D technology, same-day crowns, implants, and Invisalign. Work in a practice that is built for the way modern dentistry is done.
- A team that has your back: A collaborative clinical team that respects your judgment and gives you the time every patient deserves, not a rushed, assembly-line schedule.
- Loyal, engaged patients: Patients who already show up ready to invest in preventive care and who leave rave reviews about the experience.
- Supportive environment: A positive, team-first culture where everyone pulls in the same direction.
Where You'll Practice
North Adams sits in the northern Berkshires, where small-city charm meets big-outdoors living. Spend your days off hiking Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts, exploring the Mohawk Trail, or skiing and biking in the surrounding hills.
Catch world-class contemporary art at MASS MoCA, enjoy the independent restaurants and breweries downtown, and feel the energy of a college-town region with Williams College and MCLA right in your backyard. It is a place where you can build a life outside the operatory as rich as the career you build inside it.
Position Summary
We're looking for a licensed, compassionate Dental Hygienist who takes real pride in preventive care and patient education. You'll partner with a clinical team that respects your expertise, protects the time you need with every patient, and genuinely has your back. This isn't an assembly line. It's a team invested in doing hygiene right.

Patient Education & Experience
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care in a way that actually sticks
- Use our digital and 3D technology to show patients what you see, so they understand their own oral health
- Reinforce the dentist's treatment recommendations with clarity and confidence
- Send patients out the door with clear, thorough post-treatment care instructions
Teamwork & Practice Growth
- Partner with the doctor on treatment planning, flagging restorative and cosmetic needs such as crowns, implants, and Invisalign candidates
- Keep patient flow smooth and on time, and keep records, instruments, and operatories compliant with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
Qualifications
Required
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Massachusetts
