Responsibilities Include

Performs respiratory care related procedures in accordance with physician’s treatment plan. Assesses patient’s condition, observes and records patient’s progress and response to therapy modalities including adverse reactions to drugs and therapy.

Effectively communicates patient status and plans with the IDT staff and family members. Position requirements: Graduated from an accredited respiratory care program. Holds a current and unencumbered UT state license/certification as a respiratory therapist.

The Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory care procedures according to physician treatment plans and assesses patient conditions. They also observe and record patient progress while communicating status updates to the interdisciplinary team and family members.

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited respiratory care program and hold a current, unencumbered Utah state license or certification. A positive attitude and a commitment to prioritizing patient care are required.
