About Koda

At Koda Therapy, we believe happy, well-supported therapists make the biggest impact, which is why we’re committed to taking care of you first. We prioritize your well-being with a balanced caseload, open conversations about stress, and a collaborative atmosphere. After all, how can we expect you to support clients if you’re overwhelmed and exhausted yourself?

We’re building a team of authentic, motivated therapists who value professionalism but understand the power of a little humor and warmth. We want you here, not just for a good time, but a long time! Direct communication keeps our culture strong, while progressive systems make paperwork easier so you can head home clear minded.

We’re also not your cliché, “as seen on TV” therapists who only nod and ask, “How does that make you feel?” Our style is active and goal-driven. We help clients identify practical steps, challenge them to move forward, and feel empowered to take action. We’re looking for therapists who share that same passion.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, maintain a consistent caseload, complete documentation and treatment planning, collaborate with other providers when needed, and participate in team consultation and professional development.

In short, be the best therapist you can be, communicate when you need something, keep your documentation on track, and be a good human to work with.

  • You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
  • Have a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field
  • Are independently licensed to practice in Indiana
  • Want autonomy without feeling like you’re practicing on an island
  • Appreciate clear expectations and direct communication
  • Can give and receive feedback without making it weird
  • Care about providing thoughtful, evidence-based therapy
  • Want to keep growing clinically
  • Believe therapists can be professional without losing their personality
  • Would rather prevent burnout than brag about surviving it

What It’s Like Here

At Koda, you’ll have structure and clear expectations, but you won’t be micromanaged. We trust you to be the clinician you worked hard to become, while making sure you have support when you need it.

We work hard and care deeply about what we do, but we don’t believe work should become your entire personality. Productivity matters, but so does documentation, consultation, professional growth, and having enough energy left at the end of the day for your actual life.

We also believe good workplaces require honest communication. If something isn’t working, we want you to tell us. If you have an idea, we want to hear it. And if you’re feeling overwhelmed, we want to have the conversation early so we can work together to find a solution.

Most importantly, we're not looking for perfection. We want people who are willing to learn, take feedback, try new things, and keep growing.

Interested?

If you want to do meaningful clinical work in a place that values good therapy, good communication, and having a life outside of work, we’d love to meet you.

Apply today to learn more about the role and see if Koda might be the right fit for you.
