Job Description
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – North Carolina
- Full-Time | Remote
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
The Work
This position involves working with clients whose concerns are closely tied to the people and relationships around them. Sessions may involve a couple trying to work through recurring disagreements, a family adjusting to a major change, or an individual dealing with problems at home that are affecting other areas of life. The LMFT will help clients understand what is contributing to these situations and determine what needs to change for therapy to move forward.
- Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead virtual appointments with individuals, couples, and families
- Gather background information at the start of care
- Identify recurring issues that are affecting relationships or family life
- Help clients work through disagreements and difficult conversations
- Review how the situation changes from one session to the next
- Record important clinical information after appointments
- Bring in other resources or services when the case calls for them
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and client confidentiality
- Practice according to North Carolina LMFT requirements
- Active LMFT license in North Carolina
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong clinical documentation and treatment planning skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- 2 weeks PTO

Requirements
Candidates must hold an active LMFT license in North Carolina and a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology. Strong clinical documentation skills and experience with telehealth platforms are required.
