Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients.
- Perform and interpret EKGs, holter monitor placements, and pacemaker checks.
- Supervise and interpret treadmill stress tests and nuclear stress testing.
- Perform TEEs and cardioversions.
- Provide 24-hour call coverage for hospital consults and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients, performing and interpreting EKGs, placing Holter monitors, and checking pacemakers. Supervise and interpret stress tests, perform transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions, and provide 24-hour call coverage for hospital consults and emergencies.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of two years of cardiology experience and an active West Virginia license; an IMLC universal license is accepted. A DEA registration and CSR are required.
