The Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. They also provide technical support for respiratory equipment and participate in the education of patients, students, and staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and possess current RRT NBRC status. Additionally, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a State of Michigan Respiratory Therapist license are required upon hire.
