Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language disorders in clients.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address speech and language needs.
- Provide individualized therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and nurses, to provide holistic care for clients.
- Monitor and document progress and outcomes of therapy sessions.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance communication and maintain progress.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech and language pathology and implement evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license in Michigan as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health care setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing customized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to speech therapy.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess a current license in Michigan. A minimum of one year of experience in a home health care setting is preferred.
