Key Responsibilities

The specialist provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to a specialty patient population, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, selecting and dosing medications, and monitoring drug therapies. They also improve organizational performance by implementing clinical and safety initiatives and serving as a subject-matter expert for their specialty area.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in pharmacy from an accredited school and a Florida Pharmacist License. Required experience includes a PGY2 residency, or a PGY1 residency/fellowship plus one year of specialty clinical experience, or board certification plus three years of specialty clinical experience.
