About the Role

Join Licking Memorial Health Systems as a Nurse Practitioner - Oncology in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtains medical, family and social histories from patients.
  • Assesses patient and family needs.
  • Performs physical examinations. Recognizes deviations from normal in physical assessment and works in collaboration with the physician to develop necessary management and treatment plans.
  • Refers patients for diagnostics, surgical and psychological services.

Requirements

  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing program maintains current licensure in State of Ohio.
  • Functions within the scope of practice of nursing for nurse practitioners as defined by the Advanced Nurse Practice Act.
  • Has satisfactorily completed an approved program for nurse practitioner found in a masters
