Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities
Deliver person-centered care using evidence-based practices Manage caseload and fulfill psychiatric consultation needs of skilled nursing facility Provide assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services Provide psychoeducation and medication education to patients and/or families Collaborate with interdisciplinary facility teams Complete timely documentation (within 24 hours) Ensure compliance with state regulations in SNF settings Qualifications
Qualifications: Licensed PMHNP in the state of practice. Experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, residential care, geriatric services, and outpatient psychiatric settings preferred. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing mental health care to adult populations. Proficient with EHRs and clinical technology Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities
The Psych Nurse Practitioner will manage a caseload in skilled nursing facilities, providing psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment services. They will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide psychoeducation to patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates must be a licensed PMHNP with at least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health care for adult populations. Proficiency with electronic health records and experience in geriatric or skilled nursing settings is preferred.
