Pediatrics Physician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a an opening for an Pediatric Physician at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV!

Nellis AFB is seeking an experienced Pedicatric Physician to provide high-quality emergency and primary care under physician supervision. The PA will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a fast-paced military medical environment. Please Note: Nellis is a 24/7 facility that would require applicants to be available for all shifts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education:
• Territories or Qualifying degree, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate or Fifth Pathway certificate for individuals who obtained premedical education in the US and received undergraduate medical education abroad.
• Must have a qualifying degree MD/DO complete in the 50 states, US

Certifications

Current BLS and PALS (AHA or Red Cross–approved). NCCPA certification required. Certifications must remain current.

Licensure

Full, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.

Board Certification: No additional board certification required.

Capable of performing the full range of general medical services to include the ability and experience to adequately diagnose and treat urgent/acute diseases and injuries including:

• Pulmonary System
• Head
• Gastrointestinal System
• Eyes
• Musculoskeletal System
• Ears
• Genitourinary System
• Nose
• Reproductive System
• Throat
• Lymphopoietic System
• Neck
• Central Nervous System
• Cardiovascular System
• Endocrine System

Become familiar with the hospital formulary.

Prepare and maintain proper medical records on beneficiaries to whom treatment is provided in accordance with MTF procedures.

Follow the established operating procedures for the pediatric clinic.
