- Position: The Judge Rotenberg Center currently seeks a Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
The SLPA position is responsible for a full range of support duties in the Education Department, primarily concerned with meeting the speech therapy needs of a multi-handicapped student population. This position reports to Special Education Director and/or Education Assistant Director and consults with the Speech/Language Pathologist. It is a non-exempt (hourly) full time position. Hours of work are 8:00-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Qualifications
Certified SLPA in Massachusetts College degree required, with emphasis in the area of education/communication disorders. Stamina and physical endurance for an exceedingly busy department and demanding responsibilities. Possess excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to function with minimal to moderate supervision. ABA experience preferred.
