Job Description
The Nurse Practitioner Diffs examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals following established standards and practices. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgement to accomplish responsibilities.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician, as appropriate.
May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.

The Nurse Practitioner examines and treats patients independently and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. They ensure proper illness and injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery while maintaining established standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Advanced Practice License from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. A current Louisiana RN license and BLS certification are also required.
