Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner Clinic examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals following established standards and practices. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Relies on education, experience, professional training and judgement to accomplish responsibilities.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under minimal supervision under the direction of the collaborating physician, as appropriate.

May lead and direct the work of others within scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner independently examines and treats patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. They are responsible for disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery under the direction of a collaborating physician.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an approved professional school of nursing. A license or temporary permit to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
