Job Details: Job Location: Commons - Rolling Meadows, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $95000.00 - $95000.00Salary, Director of Nursing Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

On call pickup shifts as needed by facility Salary: $95,000 Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that is dedicated to providing innovative services, tools and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Autism and Down Syndrome.

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Clearbrook, you will have the responsibility to provide nursing services to clients at the Commons, an Intermediate Care Facility, in accordance with their needs.

Provide medication administration training to employees per DHS guidelines and maintain caseload in accordance with Rule 116 and sound medical practices. The DON has responsibility for the integrity of the medical services of the program. Essential Functions: 1.

Delegation of administration of medications and/or treatments to qualified competent, trained personnel as ordered by physician for clients on caseload. 2. Monitor, direct, guide and evaluate outcomes of each delegated task. 3. Participate as needed in the planning and implementation of client programming.

Attend client staffings as needed. 4. Coordinate clients’ nursing needs with other ICF nurses. 5. Detect signs of illness, dysfunction, or maladaptive behavior that warrant medical, nursing, or psychosocial intervention.

Evaluate, in coordination with client’s QIDP/Program Manager and Coordinators, client response to intervention and effectiveness of plan of care.

Qualifications

The Director of Nursing will have: A minimum of a Nursing diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred..

At least two years of related experience in the past five years DHS approved RN Trainer with at least 5 years of experience preferred Must have a current Illinois RN License Computer experience is preferred Must be able to perform a two person lift Benefits: Group term life insurance and long-term disability insurance (fully paid for by Clearbrook!)
