Overview
Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring a PRN night shift, Respiratory Therapist. We will consider Registered and Certified Respiratory Therapists.

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is a 224-bed, acute care hospital, and Certified Primary Stroke Center located in Hampton, Va. Sentara CarePlex Hospital provides care through advanced surgical programs, emergency cardiac intervention, fellowship-trained physicians, and the newly-opened Family Maternity Center. It is also home to the Orthopaedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, the area's first dedicated orthopedic hospital, taking specialized orthopedic care to a new level.
Required Qualifications
Education
Associates or Bachelor's degree required. Non degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered.

- State Respiratory license
NBRC RRT
BLS required at time of hire.
For new graduates only, must have State license and BLS at time of hire, and must obtain NBRC RRT within 6 months of hire date.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $37.61 - $55.27 hourly.
Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients within an acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to support patients with respiratory conditions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate or Bachelor's degree and possess a valid State Respiratory license along with BLS certification. Applicants are required to have or obtain NBRC RRT credentials as specified by the hiring guidelines.
