Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

Join AlignMed as a Wound Care NP – No Call, No Weekends in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. Overview Sub-Acute, Long-Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work-life balance flexibility (no on call or weekends)! We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a float position between our centers located in Albuquerque, NM.

Key Responsibilities

• The Advanced Practice Wound Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.

• The Advanced Practice Wound Provider collaborates on-site with the Center Leadership Team for center specific goals and priorities.

• The Advanced Practice Wound Provider collaborates with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient specific medical care.

• The Advanced Practice Wound Provider provides acute and chronic wound care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with the other medical providers in the center.

Requirements

• Will consider other concentrations/specialty tracks based on experience and business need.

• Wound Certification: CWS, WOCN, or appropriate wound certification, or actively pursuing wound certification with APN wound experience.

• A minimum of two years experience in wound care, working with the adult or geriatric population is preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 / year

• Signing bonus: $13,000.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Day shift only - no nights.
