Job Description
What we are looking for: Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist to work in an ALF/Memory Care setting who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We’re looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

- Location: Montclair, NJ (ALF setting)

Qualifications
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
Compensation: USD 70 - USD 90 - hourly
Key Responsibilities
The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate patient strengths and weaknesses to develop and implement effective treatment plans in an ALF/Memory Care setting. They are also responsible for instructing family members and caregivers on appropriate speech therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
