  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health crises or emergencies and coordinate with appropriate resources and services to ensure their safety and well-being.

Qualifications

  • State licensure or certification as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent (e. g., CDCA, LCDC II/III, LICDC, LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW) in accordance with local regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds to provide client-centered care.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also seeking supervision and consultation when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
