The successful candidate will provide small animal internal medicine clinical services at the Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital and instruct veterinary students and residents. Tenure-track faculty are also expected to establish a research focus, secure extramural funding, and mentor graduate students.
Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and be a Diplomate of the ACVIM or ECVIM (or eligible to sit for the specialty examination). Eligibility for faculty veterinary licensure in the State of Alabama and the ability to work legally in the United States are required.
