The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting within the Pediatric WIC team. They work under the direction of a physician to support the health and nutritional needs of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner and possess current RN and APRN-NP licensure in Texas. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
