Job Description

Summary: Our COTA provides in-home and in-center therapy for older adults on an ongoing basis in an effort to help regain or maintain their abilities to remain independent with ADL’s and IADL’s, range of motion, strength and interventions established by a treatment plan from the OT/L. This is a Mon-Fri daylight (7:30am-4:00pm) position, plus every other Saturday - (with flex weekday off). Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Required Education: Successful OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Required Experience: Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Current OTA licensure issued by the state of PA.
  • Valid PA Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities

The COTA provides in-home and in-center therapy to older adults to help them maintain independence with daily living activities. They implement treatment plans established by an OT/L, focusing on range of motion, strength, and functional interventions.

Requirements

Candidates must have successfully completed an OTA/L program approved by the NBCOT and hold a current PA OTA license. A minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is required.
