Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and episodic patient assessments including history, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.

• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic testing including labs, imaging, and specialty referrals.

• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions across the lifespan.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in alignment with evidence-based clinical guidelines.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.

• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the State of North Carolina.

• National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, FNP-C) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) — dual certification preferred.

• Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority in North Carolina.
