Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist is responsible for resolving drug distribution issues, interpreting clinical and pharmacokinetic data, and formulating medication monitoring plans. They also serve as a primary source of drug information for healthcare professionals and document medication use variances and adverse drug reactions.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a B.S. or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy and be licensed to practice in Connecticut. Two years of experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy is preferred.
