The clinical pharmacist is responsible for conducting accurate medication order reviews and ensuring patient safety through adherence to departmental protocols. They also provide education to pharmacy staff and students while contributing to departmental cost-reduction and revenue generation efforts.
Candidates must hold a B.S. or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy and possess or be eligible for a Connecticut Pharmacist License. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
