Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - General Cardiology - Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants – Maryville, IL

Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a General Cardiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in Maryville, IL. Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

Position Details

  • Monday - Friday weekly schedule
  • Rotating call

Pay Range

$134,960.00 Annual

Core Function: Provider

  • Education Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
  • Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
  • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or
  • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
  • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
  • Federal DEA license is preferred.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general cardiology care to patients across the care continuum in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Manage patient outcomes and satisfaction while utilizing EPIC EMR for documentation.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's with 5 years experience) and a valid Illinois APRN license. BLS certification is required, while Board Certification and DEA licensure are preferred.
