Full Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will implement the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician, ensuring professional and competent quality of care. Key duties include screening residents quarterly, carrying out treatment programs, monitoring progress, assisting with re-assessments and discharge planning, and supervising therapy aides.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and meet all state and national board licensure requirements, including an active state license. Essential skills include excellent organizational and communication abilities, knowledge of AOTA ethics, and the capacity to supervise aides.
